My interests concern the relationship between refuse and subject formation under global capitalism. Through the examination of cultural productions characterized by an employment of waste matter, I seek alternative ways of conceiving the human, history, and speculative futures by catastrophizing dominant epistemologies and value systems predicated on fixedness. My work is indebted to questions of presence and a belief in the generative potential of negation.  

I am currently  pursuing a PhD in Theater and Performance Studies at UCLA. I received an MFA in theater design from UCLA in 2023 and a BA in human geography from the University of California, Berkeley.
